The Story Behind
Holiday Garden

Design Concept

Holiday Garden draws inspiration from the landscapes, architecture, and cultural heritage of Northern Thailand

The design reinterprets the beauty of the terraced rice fields of Ban Pa Pong Piang, Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai, the ancient city walls of Chiang Mai, and the rich traditions of Lanna craftsmanship into a contemporary architectural experience.

Every detail has been thoughtfully created to connect nature, culture, and hospitality, offering guests a warm, peaceful, and uniquely Northern Thai atmosphere.

Inspiration Nº 1

Terraced Rice Fields

The rice terraces of Ban Pa Pong Piang, Mae Chaem.

The flowing curves of the terraced rice fields inspired the organic forms throughout the project.

Reborn as a handcrafted relief at our reception.

Their natural contours have been reimagined into landscape features and architectural details that create harmony between nature and design.

For seven centuries the old walls have guarded Chiang Mai.
Their bricks live on, re-laid inside Holiday Garden.
Inspiration Nº 2

Chiang Mai City Wall

For seven centuries the old walls have guarded Chiang Mai.

The ancient city walls of Chiang Mai represent strength, history, and timeless craftsmanship.

Their bricks live on, re-laid inside Holiday Garden.

Their layered brickwork and earthy textures inspired the architectural language and material selection throughout Holiday Garden.

Inspiration Nº 3

Nature & Landscape

The mountains, forests, and lush greenery of Northern Thailand inspired the landscape design, creating a peaceful environment where guests can reconnect with nature.
